It comes with a removable 12" stand, full set of loveland levers, tuning wrench, extra set of strings and a padded cordura nylon case. The harp has an internal extendable leg that raises the height from 39" to 51" and weighs 14 lbs. It has a bright strong voice, is very portable and is in excellent condition - a great starter harp! The harp player in our family has graduated to a larger Dusty Strings harp, thus we are selling this one. We are asking $1,150.00 and can deliver to Regina SK. The soundboard is solid Sitka Spruce (not plywood), tapered from bottom
to top from 3/8" to 1/8" and is veneered with Peruvian Walnut.
All other wooden parts were also made from Peruvian Walnut.
The 34 strings consist of solid nylon for the top 3 octaves, wound nylon
for the 4th octave and fiber core with copper and nylon wrapping
for the 5th octave.
Loveland sharping levers are mounted for all 34 strings.
Carvings on the neck and the base of the harp were made by Dan Cline
of Danielclinesculpture.
The harp was finished with multiple layers of clear lacquer. ~
This Harp and story was featured in a hard cover coffee table book titled
MURAL MAGIC - Karl Schutz and Chemainus “The Little Town That Did”
