~ Timothy Habinsky Aedh Harp For Sale - 24 Strings - CAD$1600 - Pickering ON - Will ShipSeller's Listing Submission - Selling a 24 string Aedh Harp by Timothy Harps, This model is no longer made, and has been replaced by the builder with a 27 string, larger model. This harp is small, and has a very big voice despite the size. It is made of Padauk and has a redwood sound board to which were added Truitt levers on C, F, and B strings. The finish is hand-rubbed oil and wax. It has a stunning sound, is easy to carry with a green carrying case, and includes a guitar strap for easy play. It would suit a proficient harper as a travel harp, or a beginner trying out for the first time. The string tension is fairly high, which leads to the loud projection. The reason for selling is that I don't have time to play at this point in my life, and I would like to see this instrument played and enjoyed. "Its soundboard is broad, asymmetric, and compound tapered, made from unveneered premium quality tone-woods. Moderately high string tension permits a dynamic range that is unprecedented in such a small harp, and you will be amazed by the power, richness and balance of its voice" quoted from Timothy's website as the description of the harp.
