What the Seller Needs to Know....

~ Free Private Sale Listing Service For Canada's Harping Community

West Coast Harps is offering a free private sale listing services through The Used Harp Mart.ca for used harps owned by harpists who reside in Canada. Please read the Seller's submission instructions below carefully on how to submit a Text Listing and avoid having to re-submit.

~ Requirements For All Seller's Free Listing Submissions:

1. The Used Harp Mart [UHM.ca] takes no commission or fee of any kind to list a used harp for up to 365 days, but the Seller must Opt-In to our email notification subscription list to take advantage of this free listing service. You will be automatically Opted-In when you fill in the Text Listing Submission Form and will normally only receive a brief email whenever a new listing is posted on the Used Harp Mart.ca Homepage Listings. Subscribers may easily opt-out and unsubscribe at the cessation of their Seller's listing.
2. We restrict listings to only used harps for sale with their associated accessories.
   
3. The harp listed and the Seller must be both physically situated within Canada at the time of listing and remain so for the listing duration.
   
4. All submissions must be complete and submitted by the Text Listing Submission Form which includes the Seller name, address and phone number [to be kept in strict confidence by the UHM.ca Editor].
5. The Used Harp Mart.ca cannot assist the Seller in the wording of the Text Listing.
6. Listings are text only - no active links will be included in the listing.
7. The text listing must adhere to the submission guidelines.
   
8. Listings must be for a single used harp that is for sale only.
9. No rentals, leases, trades or wanteds.
   
10. There is a 150 word maximum.
11. The text listing must state the city or town where the harp is located.
12. The text listing must state how many strings the harp has.
    
13. The text listing must state the asking price for the harp in CAD$ Canadian Dollars only.
14. The text listing must state if Seller is willing or unwilling to package & ship the harp on a cost recovery basis.
    
15. Listings posted for a maximum of one year. After a year the listing will be removed without notice or correspondence at the UHM Editor's discretion. A further year re-posting is available for CAD$25 payable to the UHM Editor. It is the Seller's responsibility to notify the UHM.ca Editor of any relisting intention.
    
16. Private used harp sales only - No dealers, harpmakers, or their agents - thank you.
17. No Pakistani Harp-Shaped Objects please.
18. All submissions of the text-only ads must be sent via our Text Listing Submission Form.
19. The UHM.ca Editor will contact you prior to posting your listing.
    
20. All UHM.ca Editor's decisions are final.

The Used Harp Mart.ca cannot be held responsible for "the actual condition of" or "the terms of sale for" any of the harps listed on this UHM.ca website that are not expressly offered by West Coast Harps [UHM.ca Owner].

UHM.ca only arranges shipping for West Coast Harp sales clients. All other shipping arrangements or information for private harp sales/ listings are the direct responsibility of the private sale Buyer and Seller.

~ Seller's Listing Renewal

Listings must be renewed for a CAD$25 fee after the initial free year of listing on the Used Harp Mart.

All payments to renew a private sale text listing are due before the completion of the initial free year or subsequent paid one year listing periods and are to be CAD$25 for each paid year. It is up to the Seller to inform Stephen that they wish to renew for another year. Stephen reserves the right to remove any free listing without discussion or notification after the initial free year. If issues arise Stephen reserves the right to remove any listing without recompense irrespective of time frame or monies paid.

Payment requests are by credit card initiated by clicking on a Paypal request from Stephen. You do not have to be a member of Paypal and may bypass that membership option by looking for the direct credit card payment link on the proffered payment page. All payments are non-refundable.

~ Seller's Rights and Obligations

The Seller is entitled to establish the term's and conditions for their sale as they choose. Please honour any commitments to the Buyer therein.

Please do extensive prior research on any shipping method proferred with a Seller's listing or Seller's sales terms. Do not pre-suppose that UPS Canada or the other couriers will transport the harp. Canadian shipping conditions are considerably different to those of the USA and most Canadian couriers generally will not accept packaging sizes for any harp larger than 22-26 strings. Larger harps will need to be trucked by LTL freight companies.

All shipping insurances will exclude climatic extremes unless otherwise stated in writing. Some carriers will not insure any musical instrument. Unheated shipping is the norm.

The Used Harp Mart.ca Editor nor West Coast Harps cannot assist the private Seller/Buyer in the shipping or packaging of any harp sold privately from a listing on this Used Harp Mart.ca website. West Coast Harps does offer full service shipping as their own Seller of their own new, used or consigned harps some of which are advertised on this site and/or www.westcoastharps.com
